This community is open only to people in college who may be stuggling with the "freshman 15" or just want to lose weight in a healthy way.
This is NOT an ED community. However, (and I am hesitant to say this) occasional SAFE fasting, detox diets and RARE purging (we all mess up sometimes) can be understandable.
An important thing to remember is this: fat is put on gradually and must be lost the same way. The accepted healthy amount of fat that a person can lose each week is 2 lbs, which is equivalent to 7,000 calories. However, it is advised that a person not eat below 1,200 calories a day.
